Medicare Advice: Do I Need Medicare Insurance?

medicare-insuranceIf you’ve applied for Medicare Part A and B you’ve got Medicare Insurance.  But, you’ve still got a big gap that could create a financial hardship for you if you don’t cover that gap with additional insurance.

Medicare covers 80% of your Medicare approved procedures, doctor visits, etc.  But you are still responsible for 20% of all charges. That 20% isn’t a big deal if you just have to see the doctor, but if you have a catastrophic event take place, you’ll be responsible for 20% of ALL charges to an unlimited amount.

That could add up to hundreds of thousands of dollars if you end up with cancer, need bypass surgery, have a hip or knee replacement, or any other disorder that requires a large expense.

Don’t leave yourself with this potential problem.  By enrolling in a Medicare Advantage plan or purchasing a Medicare Supplement plan you can easily cover most, if not all, of the costs related to your care.
